This book is a very worthwhile resource - A quite small book, written in a personal manner, it accomplishes very well what it sets out to do - clarify, simplify and make information on trading options comfortably understandable. I'd say it's worth its weight in bitcoins . . . .Of the dozen or so books on my interests in option trading, which are at arms reach - this book by Roji A. is now on my short list of "go to" for clarity, simplified understanding and recall. Many of the other books I have, going back many years, now serve better as (heavy) paperweights, rather than useful sources of useable information.I really do think he has pulled off an important accomplishment. The material focuses on the basics, then builds using simple examples (of what's really going on with options trading), then cleverly and clearly walks through understandable details of about a half dozen popular options trading strategies. Given how confusing, complicated, convoluted etc., options trading can seem; to make the subject user friendly, clear, understandable as well as digestable - absolutely, hats off to this person. I liked its common-sense approach, however, would like to see it rewritten for just the American market, using our Stockmarket tickers.

The author gives a basic breakdown of options trading and Morty Solon examples in the different strategies used to maximize profit and reduce risk and loss. Overall it’s a good book.

This books presents useful strategies and is to the point. The author doesn't wander around and presents the concepts in a concise and easy to understand manner with one example per strategy. So far I have been trading options without hedging and although I had some successes, some recent losses set me to look for simple to understand material. Highly recommend this book.

This is an excellent story of post-slavery life and its effect on African-American and White Americans of many nationalities. It showed how the black family has evolved with psychosis from systemic and institutional racism especially its effect on the black male. The strength of the black family is also portrayed. Reading this story has brought me to the conclusion that no one has the right to judge a people who has endured what the African-American people has endured and still "We Rise".

This is one of the best historical novels I've ever read -- and it's based on the true story of the author's own great-grandmother. It's an engrossing and superbly well-told story, all the more unforgettable because it really happened. I'm just distressed that somehow I had never heard of it until recently. This book deserves to be familiar to every American, to be at least as well-known and widely read as classics such as To Kill a Mockingbird. It should appear on any list of Top 100 American Novels.

Though I’ve read many books and seen many movies set in the pre and post Civil War years, this story was particularly profound and real. The dialogue, the use of snippets of spirituals, and the character development made this book come alive. I felt I was with Vyry in each tragedy and heartbreak. She gave me strength and hope as she conquered hate with love.

Very moving and well written. I came across it when mentioned in another book I was reading. I am so happy I followed through and read it. It is a story that will touch the readers life in an enduring way. Must read!

Excellent historical novel. Heart felt characters and mazing storyline. Author did a great job using symbolic references to the bible related to events and persons in the book. Great context and vivid details.

It has been sometime that I have read a book that I could not put down. Vyry is a person that I would have loved to meet. She was a person that no matter what life dealt her She faced it head on. She came through life with grace. It is a book that I could not quit reading and wanted it to continue.

This book was soooooo good that I was telling my coworkers about it. I had it on my shopping list for YEARS before I broke down and bought the kindle version. A great book and the kindle version is great. It allows you to make book marks and highlights.

Really well-written historical novel. Didn't mind the dialect; it made the book more readable.

Laura Mitchell MBE MDS BDS FDSRCPS (Glasg) FDCRCS (Eng) FGDP (UK) DOrthRCS (Eng) MOrthRCS (Eng) qualified as BDS in 1981. She is the co-author of the popular Oxford Handbook of Clinical Dentistry, now in its fifth edition. Laura was elected to the Board of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of England for a second term in 2009 and has had a number of leadership positions including Vice Dean. She is currently a member of the Faculty's Executive Committee and Chair of the IT Committee. Previously, she served on the Dental Council of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. She has led the development of a number of postgraduate examinations and recently stepped down as Chair of the Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship Examination in Orthodontics. She has played a prominent role in the development of Orthodontic Therapists. In 2010 she was awarded an MBE for services to healthcare.

Loved, loved Hammer-Girl & Grayson! Wonderful story full of mystery/suspense/romance ..... and terrorists! Couldn't put the book down! I loved everything about this book! The characters are well developed and believable. So is the story line. I loved Colleen Coble's Rock Harbor and did not think she could top those stories. The House at Saltwater Point does that, in my opinion. I was not that impressed with The View from Rainshadow Bay. I mean, I did like it. But this story tops it. I eagerly await the next book in this series! I will read & re-read this one again and again. Hope you like it too.

Ellie Blackmore loves fixing up houses and reselling them and it’s something she’s really good at. But how can she focus on her latest fixer-upper when her sister, Mackenzie, has gone missing and the only clue is a bloodstain on the deck of her boat. Mackenzie’s ex-husband, Jason, is Ellie’s business partner and she knows he and Mac were not getting along but she didn’t think he’d harm her. So who did? Grayson Bradshaw works for the Coast Guard as an Intel officer and is on the trail of a cocaine shipment that was stolen from the Feds warehouse. All leads point to Mackenzie but Grayson can’t seem to convince Ellie that she’s guilty. Both Ellie and Grayson want to get to the bottom of what happened to Mackenzie and what happened to the cocaine. What they discover is a lot more than what they bargained for and it will be a race against time to keep a terrorists attempt from turning deadly.The House at Saltwater Point is one of those stories that’s hard to put down once you pick it up. The mystery keeps you guessing all the way through with lots of clues to pick up on. The suspense keeps you turning pages to find out the resolution of the mystery. I enjoyed getting to know Grayson. He was a great guy and I liked Ellie too. Both were very real characters. I didn’t really care for MacKenzie though. Something about her just kinda hit me wrong. One aspect that I enjoyed was the little tid-bits from Hammer Girl Blog at the beginning of each chapter. I also enjoyed that Shauna and Zach were involved in this story. This is the second book in the Lavender Tides series and while there is a conclusion to this story, keep in mind that there will be some loose ends that will most likely be resolved in the next book. It’s a series I definitely recommend reading in order as there is a lot of history and details that build through each book and there is a subplot that runs through the entire series which is why there are some unanswered questions at the end. While the request was pending, I received a paperback copy from Fiction Guild sent me! Today's book, The House at Saltwater Point is by Colleen Coble, an author whose books I've really come to love!  The House at Saltwater Point is the second book in Colleen Coble's Lavender Point series. This book serves as a stand alone, but since I also read the first book in this series, The View from Rainshadow Bay, I was happy to catch up with the main characters from that book and to be introduced to Grayson and Ellie in this one.Ellie Blackshaw is a local house flipper, who joins forces with Coast Guard Investigator, Grayson Bradshaw, when Ellie's sister, Mac, disappears. The disappearance seems to be connected with the disappearance of a large shipment of cocaine from a local warehouse. Grayson is firmly resolved to prove that Mac was behind the cocaine theft, while Ellie is desperately trying to prove that Mac is innocent and still alive. What Ellie and Grayson discover is a whole lot more than what they bargained for and it becomes a race against time to keep things from turning deadly.This story captured me right from the start. There is lots of action and excitement to keep readers engaged throughout this story. As is usually the case with Ms. Coble's books, the characters are well written, interesting an unique. I can't wait to read the next book in this series -- I read somewhere that it may come out in January of 2019!I was provided with a complimentary electronic advanced reader copy through Net Galley in exchange for my post.  I also received a paperback copy of this book without cost from the publisher through The Fiction Guild, a Thomas Nelson/Zondervan Elite Reader book review bloggers program.
