I guess this is partly my fault. I'm definitely not into the daddy theme. But the reviews were so good, I thought I would give it a go. But the scenes, while hot and juicy, were extremely drawn out. The italics on every other word were distracting too. I ended up skipping the "good stuff" in search of some kind of story. The wrap up with the "villain" ex-boyfriend just threw the whole thing over the top. Not my cup of tea, that's for sure.
Normally I get into self-published stuff and I'm disgusted at the atrocious writing, the lackluster charm, and the poor character development. Yeah, I know. Short snippets shouldn't be focused so much on character development. But when you've got a lengthy novel that's twice or three times the size of normal quickies, and for free, then it matters.The negative reviews will say what they want to say, and largely they may be right. But I've read some trashy pieces that never should have been. THIS isn't one of them. To say this story wasn't polished is accurate. There were a lot of spots where the writing needed work, typos needed fixing, and repetitive words were overused. BUT, the story was believable. It wasn't a quick read, yet it read that way. The characters were pretty damn decent. The action was rather hot.The mistakes in the writing didn't really detract from the flow of the story whatsoever because of the writing style. This author writes REALLY well. Yeah, so the writing had problems. If you don't have an editor, you don't have time to sit back and wait several weeks to clear your mind and return with fresh eyes. You do your best and put it out there. That's the gist of self-publishing. Don't nip your readers and insult them with poor writing. If you have mistakes, make them worth it.I really LOVE how the author wrote this story out, and it's been far too long since I read a book that stuck in my head well after it was over. This was one hot little read, certainly worth returning to later on.
First, it is a pet peeve to buy a book, start reading and find myself at 25% and the story is over. This book is actually 4 short stories. My second problem is that it is mostly poorly written sex. Now, I am not a prude and I expected smoking hot sex, however I prefer getting some storyline as well. What little bit of storyline there was was carried over into all off the tales. Girl meets super hot guy or guys, they have sex, then super hots friend or friends get in on the action, here comes bad guys etc.. My biggest problem is the lack of editing! An editor would have helped with all the spelling, grammar,and plot hole issues in this book.
Loordddd are you ready for some daddy kink cuz i sure am!!!Cora is a 19 year old smart innocent shy gal who is homeless, after losing her last living family she is out in the world alone, crashing at friends house she stays with a ex bf who takes her out to a bar where she meets and hooks up with a guy (aka professor Nolan) and it all starts from there!!We Meet Nolan first who after taking his boys out since his break up (what a good friend) he went to a bar near his place where he meets a gorgeous mysteries girl that turns into a hot and heavy Fn in the bathroom no names, no nothing.. but that's out the window after he sees this girl get hit by her ex. Now Nolan can't let go Cora and now she's living with him and his 2 best friends Garret & Max.. Things Heat up and things are tested!! Lets see how long they can keep their hands off the sweet Cora ;D
Every book I have read by Madison Faye has been quick, hot and enjoyable. I've read them from beginning to end without pause.
This was a great story. I love that Kenszie started out as a brat, but then things change as she got older and everything changes. The relationship grows and ends in a happily ever after. I loved it!!
I think this is the best erotic book i have read so far beats alot of the other ones by far and there is still a story line ...you wont be disappointed.
Hot & Sexy story of three Alpha best friends and a young college student. Another great book from Ms. Faye.
